Wade Western Trail Gaited Horse and Mule Saddle 

We offer two western trail gaited horse saddles built on the Crest Ridge Saddlery tree that best fits your gaited horse or mule.  Our custom designed Wade saddle:

• Sits low and close to the horse
• Has a low post horn.
• Features more surface area of the bars in contact with the horse's back providing maximum weight distribution
• Has a deep seat designed for comfort and security during long hours in the saddle
• Has stirrups hung directly under the rider, placing the rider in the optimal balanced riding position.
• Has double suspended hanging Dee rigging that connects directly to the tree for extra durability
• Includes a 5.5" cantle

Our Wade saddles are highly customizable.  Available options include:

• Show brown, chestnut, light oil or black leather

• Tree widths of regular, wide or extra-wide

• Fenders in short, standard or long lengths

• Choose between our standard Crest Ridge fenders or two piece California fenders

• Custom matching accessories, including bridles, reins, breast collars, breeching, saddle bags, pommel bags are available when you order your Wade saddle.  These accessories will be made from the same leather with the same tooling by the same craftsmen that make your saddle.  These accessories will match the color of your saddle since they are made from the same dyed leather at the same time as your saddle is built.

• Available in seat sizes 15",16", and 17"
• 14" and 18" seats are available with some trees as a special order.
